Oh hey, those are the teams I voted for. Realistically it was this was the match I thought would have the highest level of play.

Hopefully Meta Athena can make it happen and really bring it to AFB and their new tank core.

Yeah, but I'm not sure whether these teams will really show all they have on them since they have their APEX matches coming up real soon (Meta on 14th and AFB on 16th). Nevertheless, it should be a good practice match for them, so I am excited to see how the new lineups will play out.

Yeah I'm glad It's MA vs AFB

This will be a clean sweep from AFB I think, they're still quite a powerful team and can't be underestimated regardless of their stumble versus Lunatic Hai.

edit: I didn't realize AFB had a slight roster change, could easily change the way I thought the game would turn out

Extremely bad defense on OT for AFB which lead MA to cap 2/3 or the map..

Which lead them to lose map7 and the game.

Holy reverse sweep PogChamp on a side note,this just adds to the momentum MA will have for Apex and the Unpredictability of Group A between Runaway and MA on who will get through groups

Unexpected result but let's also note that AFB has a new tanking core and Mano was a beast, but I think they can bounce back to win their group. What happens after that is up in the air as they'll have to step it up to make it to the SF and beyond.

As for Meta it's good to see them be able to adjust their play to this meta. They should be able to challenge if not overcome Runaway but it's unlikely to be easy. Great matches ahead!
