AF.Blue dropped out of the Battleroyal because Mano got WC commitments
Interesting. I wonder who is playing for Libero since he is currently out for wrist injury. Nus is out as well, and Hyeonu from wNv.KR will be playing the healer role.
I heard that Meta Athena/Meta Bellum had some team issue, and the team was not functioning properly for awhile because of that. (Conflict between the coach and the players I think? Not sure Sayaplayer considering to move to different team, and Libero thinking about quitting Overwatch has anything to do with that) I really hope Meta Athena can recover well. I guess this match will show how Meta Athena is recovering and rebuilding in preparation for the new season.
Both of these teams need a boost for sure, specially if the meta hasn't changed by the time Season 5 rolls around.Hopefully they'll have figured something out by then but in the mean time we get to see hoe Meta Athena copes with the possible issues listed above.
They should be the stronger team at full power but can they adapt if that's not the case?

Very nice insight ! Thx mate

Lets not forget they will probably play on the Doomfist patch.
Which means we will probably (i mean for sure) see some Doomfist.
I remember Meta Athena APEX run from last year , they always surprised us with some picks ( like mei for Libero).
Y'all remember their Dorado attack ? if not here a refresher https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z5VRez2gHQ
On a DoomFist patch i think MA will be more surprizing than MVP Space but it could be a very close one.
This meta is actually changing ( Rein is back , Reaper /Junkrat , Sombra, Doomfist ) , this will be great to see ho the profesionnals teams are trying to adapt

I'd argue that Rein and Junkrat aren't back yet. Neither have been used outside of niche picks. I do agree that we could see Doomfist if he's allowed and I'm looking forward to seeing how he changes things up.
gobucks34 [#12]I just want to see Meta Athena go back to the unique strategies that got them so far in season 2. I feel like in season 3 they were pretty predictable and seeing Libero on dva felt like a waste of his diverse hero pool. Hope to see more hanzo, mei, pharah and other heroes from libero in the future.
That could happen on the condition that the meta permits it. I mean if their opponent can run dive into them with remotely as much success as AFB did it'll be hard for them.
They're kinda like the NiP of old having trouble adjusting to this new meta.
Toks [#16]Wait..hoon left too?
According to the team twitter (https://twitter.com/themetagaming), the roaster they played today isn't necessarily their final roaster for the next season of APEX. Rather, this match was used as a test for their trial members. They did not mention anything about Hoon, Changsik, and Alpha, so I am not sure whether they are still in, but I certainly hope so since Reinhardt and Zarya might become useful again with the recent patch.
