Cyclowns, formerly known as ex-Cyclone, have had a tough couple of weeks. After earning a spot at TaKeOver 2 through the first qualifier, they lost two of their players to offers from rival organisations. Cyclowns will now play the $50,000 LAN with Krytox (also known as Lelouch) and their coach iuKeEe as players.
Two weeks ago, flex support Boombox left to play for eUnited and replace Rubikon. Recently, Cyclowns announced that their main tank Mowzassa had decided to accept an offer from Laser Kittenz.
Cyclowns have come to an agreement with Team Singularity Ninjas to use Krytox on loan for TaKeOver 2. The addition of the Danish DPS player sees them move poks to the flex support role, now with coach iuKeEe on main tank.

With their former roster, Cyclowns would have been one of the favourite teams for TaKeOver 2. Now with only three players on their former roles, and their coach having to fill the main tank spot without top level experience on the role, questions must be asked about their strength.
The team’s Twitter announcement indicates that Cyclowns will re-assess their roster situations after TaKeOver 2; without an organisation to provide support and contracts for their players, it will be tough to avoid their talent being picked apart.
The roster for Cyclowns at TaKeOver 2 will be:
- Tuomo ”Davin” Leppänen (DPS)
- Christian ”Krytox” Gyldenloev (DPS)
- Emil ”destro” Krastev (Flex)
- Luke ”iuKeEe” Dainton (Tank/Coach)
- Antti ”poks” Hellstedt (Support)
- Ryan ”CrusaDe” van Wegen (Support)
