They dropped my boy jolson NotLikeThis also is denial gonna pull a complexity and trial players in the omm or they gonna stick with silkthread for now?
Denial isnt paying players so in order to speed up their payments they remove jolson and add silkthread to increase their chances of qualifying for AMM despite knowing that silkthread wouldn't play for denial full time. Jolson feels like he's been fucked over in this situation after playing with these guys for a long time and then just getting pushed to the side without real closure.

Well according to xqc theres another side to the story. Denial SHOULDN'T have been paying them, that would have been stealing paychecks to an insane degree. But if not paying them anything caused something like this, the players should have expressed their concern. If I was Denial I would say "Okay, we will put you on a small salary to hold you over, if you don't qualify for anything or win anything in the next 3 months, it goes back to nothing."
penda [#7]I don't understand why they don't sue denial for not paying them, I'm sure they signed contracts that had the requirements in place.
Would never work.
Firstly there is probably something in the contract about Denial having full control over payment, or there might not even have been an agreed salary. The agreement could have been that they will pay them when they get results, which could be why this happened.
And even if the contract wasn't being honored by Denial it would NEVER be worth the process and fees of suing them from the players.
I haven't heard of a single year of Denial being an org where they haven't had something like this happen to them, boggles my mind that people are still so ignorant to what they've done to people and their careers in the past. Still sucks what happens but the sooner you know what kind of people you are dealing with the better it is for your situation. gl squid
penda [#14]#11 can you show me where xqc says that?
Also it's pretty dumb to sign a contract with an already shady organization to say that they would pay you if you got good results, it just doesn't make sense. If you were getting good results you would be able to sign with an org much better than denial.

Im not saying anyone is right, I'm just saying there is another side that is worth hearing.
Also Denial isn't "shady" by any means, they just don't have the greatest history with teams. And you don't know what was in discussion when signing a contract, all I'm saying is that it's a possibility that there could have been an agreement like that, especially with the uncertainty involved with Overwatch. I think if the players were SUPPOSED to be getting paid and werent dont you think they would have said something about it?? Especially on Jolsons stream after hes already been cut and calling his teammates cowards??? Coming to the conclusion that the best decision for the players would have been to sue Denial with only the information that we know so far is a really really stupid thing to say.
Haven't the players said that denial is missing payments for them? It seems like you're the one making assumptions without facts.

Denial obviously has a history in missing payments and it seems like history is repeating itself with their overwatch team.

Okay so Denial has a bad history with payment.
That doesn't negate anything else I have said

Clickbait [#18]
K I clicked it. I think that supports what I've been saying
And after looking at Xqcs statement it appears they DID have an agreement in regards to OMM performance HMMMM. Nice try penda
victococoblazin [#5]In the wise words of xqc "drop out of school for esportsssss" or just do a sinatraa Kappa
What is sinatraa doing?
twerp [#25]pretty sure sinatraa does online school
Papa Ryu- gonna check on him and make sure he did his homework LOL
I did that in high school but I actually had to be in the school to do it. I just cheated my way through all of it easy and graduated early.
