Interesting stuff
Honestly I think if ana's bio nade scaled down as more teammates (or even enemies) got hit by it, her bio nade would be a bit more balanced but I'm not sure if blizzard has considered this as a change
Junkrat changes are interesting but how it was worded makes me wonder if it's all the time or only kicks in during certain situations
Not sure why sombra got another buff but I can understand changing the radius from which she's heard from when she comes out of invisibility. I guess the translocator cooldown reduction is so that she's getting more opportunities to open up a fight but I'm no sombra expert
Winston bubble changes are good but I personally think they should've been in the game sooner but that's good that it's coming in now
Good to see zen buffs but Bren and Admirable summed up the changes best imo
Zen meta incoming
Dive comp to be the only comp worth running it feels like if these changes go live.
with these changes it looks like blizzard were really intending zen to replace ana for most comps. rein might be less necessary with the divey nature of fights as well as the winston buff (and orisa being able to compensate somewhat for a lack of a rein), so much so that it might be worth people running dive defences most of the time, with choke control being less important. will be interesting to see, but hard to play.
I like these Ana changes, will stop her feeling like she does "too much".
The zen damage of destruction change is nice but I don't think he really needs his discord to penetrate through shields. As Bren says dive comp would basically become the only thing to bother playing with and whilst it is entertaining and fun to watch. And probably one of the hardest things to do, I do like the fact we have all these different team compositions at the moment.
Landing discords on the right target is part of the skill required surely, so when you can turn the rein shield it's your priority to get that discord on the Ana in the back or whatever and then your team dives. But if that change goes live it's basically, jump in repeatedly and hope the fight swings in your way.
I feel that they've added it as more of a way to just control Winston who will have A LOT more shield uptime but are ignoring the effect it has on other heroes and team compositions.
I really wish they did small changes and tweaks to heroes rather than just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks.
New changes today and a some more tomorrow: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20753516591#post-2
I tend to agree, though I did see a few raised issues about how the nade nerf would have been too much of a hit on her self-healing. Was thinking maybe if they stayed with the nade damage nerf but left the nade healing amount same as live, and then tuned back some of the rifle nerf, might satisfy more people.
Glad they changed discord going through shields as well as weapon spread being removed. They really want Zenyatta to be that fragging support and that's good to see. Ana is the utility and ult stopper and then obviously Lucio for speed and Mercy as the oops I died again.
But it's good they aren't pushing what Zenyatta brings to the team as a whole and focusing on what made Ana enjoyable but bringing it to the hero that is designed to dps. We'll still see other comps.
