UGC OW Season 2 starts Oct 6th, minimum $400 prize

Season 2 of UGC's Overwatch league will be starting on Thursday October 6th! We are also excited to announce that for Season 2 there will be a minimum $400 $500 prize pot to be split (proportionally based on division size) amongst the top team in each Region. We are currently running a Community Fundraiser through GoFundMe to help us increase the prize pool. Throughout the season we will be running a number of Show Matches and Special Brawls to help raise more funds for the prize pool. More info on this can be found on our homepage.

Signups for Season 2 are currently open, so head over to our website and click the "Battle Net Login" button to begin setting up your team! Please note: We're currently accepting new teams in North America, Europe, Asia, South America & Australia/New Zealand regions. Each Region must have a minimum of 14 teams participating in the upcoming season in order to be eligible for prize money.

The regular season will begin on Thursday Oct 6th and will run for 7 weeks. Default match time is Thursdays at 930pm. Following the regular season, we will take 1 week off for Thanksgiving and will resume for 3 weeks of playoffs starting Thursday Dec 1st. For a complete maplist, please visit our schedule page.

For players unfamiliar with our league, UGC is a completely free grass roots league run by the community for the community. We currently run the largest amateur Team Fortress 2 seasonal league in the world with over 8,000 rostered players in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. We have been around since 2002 and have supported a number of Steam games throughout the years. This is our second season supporting Overwatch.
