This marks the first move for the team in the 2020 offseason.
Sayaplayer was one of the Mayhem’s longest standing players since he joined during the 2018 season in February of that year, and was one of the first Korean players to join the then-European roster.

He played only three matches in the 2020 season; two at the Philadelphia homestand in February and one online match. He returned to Korea in May for a health problem and did not play any matches afterward.
Kris joined the Mayhem during the 2018 off-season, and Byrem and Karayan joined during the 2019 season in May and June of that year respectively. Kris played throughout the 2020 season, while Byrem and Karayan saw limited playtime this season. Sayaplayer and Kris had also played together on Meta Athena before.
The Mayhem finished fourth in the North American playoffs this season, losing to the Washington Justice in the third round of the loser’s bracket.
The team no longer has anyone left from their 2018 roster. Sayaplayer has since moved to Valorant with T1 under the new name Spyder.
