They are head coach Beka and off-tank Sven .

Both new additions have worked with Chinese Contenders teams in the past. Beka was the coach for Lucky Future during Contenders 2018 Season 3, when the team fell in the quarterfinals to eventual champions T1w. Beka will be helming GC Busan Wave as the head coach, after the position was vacated by Mentalist, who joined the Atlanta Reign.

Sven last played for LGE.Huya in Contenders 2019 Season 2. With the team, Sven won the Contenders China title, which earned him a spot at the Gauntlet. Unfortunately, the team fell in the first round of the lower bracket in the group stage.

The offseason saw GC Busan Wave lose star DPS Edison to the Reign, while main tank ION also announced his departure from the team.

GC Busan Wave now sit at seven players on their roster, with new addition Sven and Ritz competing for a starting position on the off-tank role.
