The Defiant were one of the new expansion teams in the 2019 season, and tied for 17th place in the final standings with a 8-20 record in the regular season.

Neko joined the Defiant in October 2018 as part of their debut lineup. Prior to the Defiant, he played for the Boston Uprising in the 2018 season.

The Defiant have made a number of roster moves throughout the off-season. Yesterday DPS player Ivy moved to the Philadelphia Fusion, and Fusion University tank player Beast joined the Defiant.

The Defiant currently have Mangachu subject to team option, and will become a free agent if he is not picked up on November 11.
