We thank them for their hard work and for being incredible teammates during our 2019 Season, and we wish them luck and success in their future careers! #IonThePrize pic.twitter.com/FNIiioTdzg
Elk joined the roster in September of last year as a two-way player from academy team Fusion University. He played in four matches in the 2019 Overwatch League season before he returned to the academy team this June to play in Contenders Korea.
Kyb moved to the team from the Guangzhou Charge last July as part of a swap between the two teams. While he did have playtime during his time on the Charge, he did not play a single match with the Fusion this season.
The Fusion finished in the top 12 this season--enough to qualify for the play-in tournament--and were eliminated by the Shanghai Dragons before they could qualify for the playoffs.
This is the latest change to the Fusion this week after they split with neptuNo and EQO.
The Fusion today also signed a three-year contract extension with Carpe, according to team officials that spoke to ESPN. He was previously listed as a free agent.
Officially, Boombox, Poko and Sado are the only players under contract with the team.
