DPS player Wub has announced his retirement, with plans to go pro in Apex Legends. Wub joined Third Impact, then known as Chicken Contendies, in June this year for Contenders Season 2. They were picked up by GRUNTo Esports later that month before the start of the season, but then parted ways with the organization in August and rebranded as Third Impact. They finished in the top four this season.

Wub spent a notable amount of time in the Overwatch Contenders scene. He first gained recognition on Second Wind in 2018. He also played for the Mayhem Academy this year, who placed in the top four in Contenders Season 1: North America East.

Third Impact, his last team, only have support player Zholik and head coach ByZenith on their official roster.
