Second Wind recently placed in the top six of Contenders 2019 Season 1: North America East, where they lost to the Montreal Rebellion in the playoff quarterfinals.

Joining the roster are DPS Caden , tank ShRedLock , and support Ex0rath . This will be Caden and ShRedLock’s first high level competition; Ex0rath previously played for Eternal Academy in the European region, where they were unable to requalify for Contenders after placing below the top two in Trials, and disbanded last month.

Obasill and Jer have joined as coaches. Obasill coached for the Washington Justice until he left in April, and Jer previously played for XL2 Academy until he announced his free agency last month; this will be the first time Jer has taken a coaching position.

They have also seen the departure of coach Flubby , who transferred over to Team Gigantti. Flubby was with Second Wind since last October.

Second Wind’s first match in Contenders 2019 Season 2: North America West will be against Revival on June 17.
