The shuffle follows the team’s seventh place finish in Contenders 2019 Season 1: Korea, where they went 2-5 in the round robin group stage.

Support players DDobi and Who and tank player Leo have left the lineup. Who initially joined in October, Leo followed suit in November, and DDobi as well in December; all three played with the team since Contenders 2018 Season 3: Korea.

HEOJUNHO , ZEST , KhaN , MELON , Friday , and Skewed have joined the roster. All six were previously on GGTC, the academy team of GEEKSTAR. HEOJUNHO, KhaN, and Melon were also on PHOENiX PHOENiX Inactive Piggy Shin Min-jun off tank VENDETTA Lee Jiseok dps HEOJUNHO Heo Jun-ho (허준호) dps MELON Shin Jung-ho (신정호) tank iLSeuBi Lee Ilsub support PaeSeul Lee Jun-seo support during Contenders 2018 Season 3: Pacific, and Friday also played for VX in the Open Division 2019 Season 1: Korea.

GEEKSTAR are set to compete in Contenders Trials, where they’ll have to fight for one of the two qualification spots for the next season of Contenders.
